Strolling magic is where I would arrive at your party and walk around amongst groups of guests, surprising and entertaining everyone as I greet them and say hello. Then, I'd be able to perform a unique piece of magic to the person of honour and their close friends and family, and this is great if you want something unobstructed and personal to everyone.
A close-up magic show is if you want to create more of a showpiece where everyone sits down and gets to watch the magic happening in front of them all together around a table or even your living room with the whole party sitting and paying attention. The magic happens right in front of them.
