A blog that details all the benefits to having memorable magic at your event

When's the best time to have a magician at your wedding ?

If you are looking for a magician for your wedding, you'll find yourself asking when the best time to have a magician performing for all your guests is?

There are three main times that I recommend having a magician, all of which come with their benefits, depending on what you want and the flow of your wedding day.

  . The drinks reception

  . The wedding meal

  . The evening reception

I'll review each day for you and break down the benefits. So you can decide which time is best for you on your wedding day.

THE DRINKS RECEPTION

Best time to have a magician at your wedding.

Right after the ceremony, the drinks reception starts. This will be your first moment as husband and wife, which means lots of celebrating and the time to take photos.

While taking your photos, your other guests will have their first drink and wait for the wedding meal to start. It's the perfect time to hype up the excitement and have your guests mesmerized by the magician.

A magician at the drink reception will help bring out everyone's excitement and set a tone for the rest of the celebration.

The negative is that your photographers will be busy taking photos of the wedding party, so you might get fewer pictures of the magic and its impact on your guests.

However, I work with my photographer, who takes all the photos you see here on my website, and I'm more than happy to check his availability if you want to make sure you capture some fantastic reactions from your guests.

THE WEDDING MEAL

During your wedding meal, people will be waiting. For their courses to arrive, and in the meantime, they will be trying to fill up the time with small talk; somebody might even sit with people they don't know.

Having magic during this time will help break the ice and keep everyone entertained while they are sat down; your photographers now have the perfect opportunity to capture the magic.

This also allows me to approach the head table towards the end and perform the magic for the entire head table. This means you have a front-row seat to see the magic with your eyes, which can also make an incredible video opportunity!

Here’s a video to check out to see what this bride and groom had to say about me performing during their wedding meal!

THE EVENING RECEPTION

The evening reception is a fantastic time to have a magician. You have new guests arriving for the evening, and you can begin to relax yourself

having a magician for your evening reception gives you the perfect opportunity to end the day on an all-time high, both exciting your guests who have been there for the whole day and welcoming in the new guests with something that can connect to and make them feel welcome to what is sure to be an extraordinary evening.

Because you also get to sit back a bit now, you will have all the opportunity to see the magic yourself and the impact magic can have on your guests.
